About Notices in Updater CE
You'll get important alerts about device safety issues reported by the community here, such as when devices are being bricked by certain firmware.
Notices are how the community warns about device safety issues, firmware that should not be installed on a particular hardware revision, and new software releases.
- Each notice has its own page on this site, so a warning can be read in full instead of being cut down to one line.
- The app shows the same text, with the notice's detail opening from the banner.
- A notice without a specific page simply opens its own page here; a link to the bare site root is ignored.
