Platform V1 Baseline01 installed physical qualification
Status: PARTIAL / INTERRUPTED, not full integrated physical qualification. Owner confirmed preserving installation and requested tests on 2026-10-04. No flash, reboot command, push, main merge, protected-partition write or public-distribution promotion is performed by this session.

Build Y2LINUX-PLATFORM-V1-BASELINE-01; Linux 98daf3f0220f4a1580bb4893094ee9f0e02362a5, Reborn 9cd12baeeb70b204e08299bd4c91c8c35604c304; kernel 6.18.0-y2linux-platform-v1-baseline-01; root 2025.02.18-platform-v1.24. Admission boot ef2c8f2f-56d9-418a-b8a8-2dfd329d0973, kernel taint 0. The sealed package and image hashes remain unchanged; physical receipts live separately in the owner's restricted out/platform-v1-physical/ directory.
Smoke and harness admission
Pinned USB SSH required a temporary host static IPv4 profile: the new composite interface name differed from the historical profile, while the automatically created profile requested DHCP. This is host reachability, not firmware failure. Owner explicitly confirmed wheel, display, audible local track and normal battery display. Root/DATA geometry/UUID/ext4, Reborn process and dmesg, Wi-Fi association/DNS and CPU0 state availability/policy passed the machine smoke. All three smoke directories retain the same source pair and boot.
The initial CPU preflight refused a paused queue before hardware mutation. Normal rebornctl stop cleared it without deleting owner media. The second CPU run passed C1, 18 normal hotplug transitions and all five OPP readbacks, then stopped at the obsolete Power-as-screen-toggle assumption. On the new product, short Power when stopped requests separately guarded full-system sleep; that request correctly refuses physical_qualification_required. It is not a firmware screen failure. No C2/C3/full-suspend entry occurred, no boot change, taint or filesystem fault occurred. Cleanup also reported that same obsolete screen assumption; every failure receipt is retained.
The host-only cpu_idle_completion_device.py correction waits for existing normal Reborn automatic screen timeout, without changing settings, forcing blanking, bypassing sleep, or changing installed firmware. Short Power is used only to wake an already blanked display. Ten targeted host tests passed, including bounded timeout rejection and no Power/policy writes. Commit 3f35bc6 records this helper and the admission audit; compiled image remains Linux 98daf3f. A separately recorded same-boot, zero-entry/zero-fault guard restored the original automatic boot C3 controls after the harness-only failure. That restored runtime state is not presented as an additional cold-boot observation: the original admission already captured Enabled/-1/disable0 before any mutation.
The third run uses this corrected host helper and the original owner observations bound to the unchanged boot. Natural parking is awaited through the real kernel coordinator; no secondary power, clock, frequency or topology guard is bypassed.

USB loss, owner restart and recovered boot
The corrected third job deliberately set USB role to none at 18:54:16 UTC after sync, while radios were already off-runtime. Its C3 prerequisite loop then waited too long for natural core parking. Unplug/replug cannot override that explicitly disabled role. The owner reports restarting the player because USB would not return. Host enumeration resumes at 19:05:55 UTC and the observer detects boot 9d4d0245-f1f0-45ef-abc9-f43234ae30de at 19:06 UTC.
The last durable topology record is approximately 19:05:25 UTC: online 0-3, parked mask 0, new 480-second post-load hold, dormant budget 0, zero dormant entries/resumes/successes and zero UART attempts. No c3_armed, completed cycle or initial admission record exists. Recovery reports previous journal invalid, device ring absent and RGU reset status 0 / none_reported. This is an owner-interrupted campaign with no demonstrated C3 entry/restore failure. The initial host error "Device reset" correctly rejected the changed boot; it does not diagnose the reset cause. Preserve all failed/raw captures. Historical UART01 remains valid on its own exact image. Do not launch further C3 or suspend trials from this partial receipt.
Recovery dmesg contains a DRM vblank timeout WARNING during boot, followed by flip/commit timeouts. The automatic C3 boot policy reports Skipped with reason kernel_tainted_or_unknown. This separate graphics/boot gate needs diagnosis; never force C3 on despite that refusal. An attempted recovery quarantine command did not run because a separate wired-audio session held the shared device lock. No device command is issued across that ownership boundary.
The owner also reports USB problems after flashing, before this CPU test. That earlier report remains open and is not explained away by this deliberate test detach. Host evidence does independently show the new composite ECM name enp8s0f3u2i1 replacing the historical enp8s0f3u2; the automatically selected profile attempted DHCP and repeatedly failed, while firmware uses static 10.42.0.1/24. A verified Y2 VID/PID/serial/MAC profile now uses static 10.42.0.2/24, never-default, autoconnect and MAC matching rather than interface name. It auto-connected on the observed return and is now saved persistently. This corrects host network reachability; it does not prove all firmware USB or MTP reconnect behavior works. No descriptor/enumeration error appears in the captured host kernel interval. Current-image MTP/physical reconnect remains unqualified.
Localized harness correction
The host helper now awaits the real parking owner with USB still attached before the C3 offline window. After detach, topology is bounded to 60 seconds and each admission wait to 30 seconds; an independent userspace alarm caps the entire offline window at 180 seconds. Its cleanup disables C3/zeroes budget/backstop, restores the original USB role and allows eight seconds for enumeration, even when prerequisite admission fails. An existing alarm or non-device original role refuses detach. The real-entry kernel backstop and all C3 acceptance predicates remain unchanged. No hardware re-run is implied by this correction.
Host-only commit 7b80f3ec3bb910278742b87be3d7ae61a6ece76e records the USB outage and host reconnect corrections. It does not alter compiled source or firmware.
Targeted software validation: **16 CPU harness tests + 14 integration coordinator tests PASS**. New fault injection covers long parking with USB attached, offline timeout, failed quarantine cleanup still attempting USB restore and an existing timer rejecting detach. Sealed firmware/build/software counts remain unchanged.
Next smallest gate is exclusive, read-only recovered-boot USB/graphics diagnosis after the wired-audio session releases its lease. No stress, full sleep, firmware replacement, main promotion, issue closure or public release follows from these partial successes. Power and RTC wake remain separately NOT_RUN on this image.
