Y2 RockBox licensing notice

Original code and documentation in the parent Y2 RockBox project are Copyright (C) 2026 Y2 RockBox contributors and are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or (at your option) any later version (GPL-2.0-or-later). The complete license text is in LICENSE.

The 11_rockbox_android/rockbox-y1 submodule is a modified Rockbox codebase. It is a separate work with upstream history and license files, including docs/COPYING and docs/LICENSES. Those notices must remain with any source or binary distribution.

Third-party files retain their own copyright and license notices. Nothing in the parent-project license grants redistribution rights for Innioasis firmware, vendor applications, device dumps, trademarks, or generated firmware images. Those materials are excluded from the intended public source distribution.

Anyone distributing a modified Rockbox binary must also provide the complete corresponding source and the applicable license notices.
