Y2Linux 1.0 Beta 7.8: Last.fm fixes. Linux 6.18 and the native Reborn music player for the Innioasis Y2.

Settings → About & Updates → Check for Updates → Update Now.
Fixed: Last.fm scrobbling
- Now Playing stays on your profile: it is sent again when you continue after a pause or play a song again (Beta 7.7 sent it once per song, so it disappeared after a pause).
- One bad play can no longer stop scrobbling: if Last.fm refuses a single play as invalid, only that play is left out and the rest are sent.
- Signing in right after Wi-Fi connects now waits until the player's clock is set (secure connections need the right date) and says so, instead of failing.
- Pressing Connect twice no longer starts two sign-ins.
- Internet radio, clock (automatic time zone), platform and Last.fm events reach the player's log again, which helps with bug reports.
Last.fm scrobbling itself (new in Beta 7.7) is confirmed working on a real player: QR sign-in and scrobbles appear on last.fm. Guide: Last.fm scrobbling.
Everything from Beta 7.7 (Last.fm scrobbling) and earlier is included.
Install (from stock)
You need SP Flash Tool v5.2032, a USB cable, Y2Linux-1.0.0-beta.7.8-first-install.zip below and the Innioasis Y2 firmware package v3.2.0 from Innioasis (also your way back to stock).
- Unpack both.
- SP Flash Tool → Download Only → load
MT6582_Android_scatter.txtfrom the Y2Linux zip. Exactly BOOTIMG, RECOVERY, ANDROID and USRDATA are ticked. - Click Download and connect the switched-off Y2; wait for the green tick.
- Unplug and press Power: Y2Linux and Reborn start, music works.
- Connect the Y2 to the computer and copy (don't move)
system.imgfrom the Innioasis package onto the Firmware drive. The player takes the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth firmware from it and turns the radios on.

Known issues (beta)
- Sending plays that waited offline across sleep has not been checked on a player yet.
- The 12- or 24-hour clock follows the time zone; there is no switch yet.
- FM radio is in the works for a later beta.
- Battery life in sleep is not yet stock-like (about 8 mA vs stock 1.3 mA). The player cannot detect wired headphones yet.
