Storage, microSD cards and finding files again
Internal storage fills up quickly with lossless music. A microSD card is the simplest upgrade.
- Power the player off before inserting or removing a card.
- Slide the microSD card into the slot until it clicks. It only fits one way.
- Turn the player on. The card appears as a second storage location.
- Copy music to the card, then eject the player safely before unplugging it.
Cards larger than 32 GB should be formatted as exFAT or FAT32. If the player does not see a card, format it in the player if that option is offered, or format it on a computer as FAT32 before trying again.
Do not pull the card out while music is
playing. The player may still be writing to it, and a half-written file
is hard to recover.
